the sixteenth day

Apparently it’s going to be 34 degrees today, which is pretty lovely. I’ve borrowed my brother’s car to drive down to Mandurah for a shoot, as it has air conditioning and is considerably more likely to survive the journey than Celeste.

I decided yesterday night that to save myself from everyone asking how I cut up my knee (I should invent a better story that involves ninjas or something), and because I’m sick of wearing stockings in the heat, I’d make myself a long skirt.

So, I’m wearing my homemade skirt, op shop bodysuit, homemade necklace, op shop belt, op shop shoes and a bag my mum gave me from her costume cupboard (it’s hard vinyl, I think maybe it was a makeup case as it has little compartments inside).
